Message From Principal

Industry and commerce play a vital role in the growth and development of our country. In response, the Government of India has initiated programs like “Make in India” and “Digital India.” Additionally, Foreign Direct Investment is pouring into India at an accelerated rate, and E-Commerce is gaining popularity among the Indian population. As a result, there is a significant demand for Commerce and BCA graduates.

With the vision of preparing high-caliber graduates in Commerce and BCA, along with Chartered Accountants, Company Secretaries, Software Engineers, and more, the DKS Education Trust established Chetan College of Commerce & BCA in the year 2015-2016.

At Chetan College of Commerce & BCA, we not only provide quality education in PUC Commerce, B.Com, and BCA courses but also prepare students for examinations in Chartered Accountancy, Company Secretaryship, and Software Development. Additionally, we train students to appear for competitive examinations in Banking, Insurance, Administrative Services of the State (KAS), Central Government (IAS), Information Technology (IT), and other MNC companies. We provide all the necessary facilities for the overall development of our students’ personalities.

Dr. Vishwanath M Koravi

Dr. Koravi is a dynamic young man who has an M.Com, M.Phil&Ph.D in Commerce to his credit. Even as a student he evinced keen interest in educational and social activities and worked as a General Secretary in Karnataka University. As a Lecturer, Academic-Co-ordinator & Principal of one of the prestigious management colleges of the country he has served for more than 25 years in the field of Education. His keen insights into educational and research problems have enthused him to work with an understating with the Teaching fraternity and entrepreneurs. Quite naturally he wears the mantle of the Secretaryship of DKS Education Trust.

Jagadeesh H Dyavappanavar

Shri Jagadeesh Dyavappanavar, the Chairman of DKS Education Trust, holds an MSc in Mathematics and a PGDCA degree, with twenty years of teaching experience. Currently, he is the Head of the Science Department at Rural Polytechnic in Tarihal, Hubli. Besides being a respected teacher, he is also an excellent organizer. He serves as the honorary State President of the Aided Polytechnic Associations of Karnataka and is the Vice-Chairman of the Co-operative Education Society in Tarihal, Hubballi. He has valuable experience in managing educational organizations, including his role as Director of Dyavappanavar-Valasang Education Academy in Hubballi.

Murugesh S Sidnal

Shri Murugesh Sidnal is an advanced agriculturist and businessman known for his kind personality and charitable activities, which have made him well-loved in Soundatti Town and beyond. Coming from a rural background, he has a deep understanding of rural life and is passionate about educating the youth in Karnataka. As a businessman, he efficiently runs an H.P. Gas agency in Soundatti. He is also the President of the DKS Education Trust. His leadership and dedication continue to inspire the community.

Shri Rajanna M Koravi

Rajanna M. Koravi, an alumnus of Sandur Residential School, holds a B.Com from J.G. College of Commerce and an L.L.B from Sakri Law College, Hubli. He was an accomplished athlete, serving as captain in multiple sports during his school days and representing Karnataka University in cricket. Rajanna has served two terms as a corporator for Hubballi-Dharwad Municipal Corporation, working on various committees. For the past 15 years, he has conducted free health and eye camps for the poor in Dharwad district. He has worked consistently on infrastructural development in ward no. 25, including roads, drinking water facilities, and community buildings.
