Dr. Vijay Sankeshwar has over thirty years of experience in the transport industry and has received several awards, including the ‘Udyog Ratna’ from the Institute of Economic Studies, New Delhi, in 1994, the Aaryabhat Award in 2002, the Sir M. Visvesvaraya Memorial Award in 2007, and the Transport Samrat in 2008. He was named ‘Transport Personality of the Year’ at the India Road Transportation Awards (IRTA) in 2012. In 2020, the Government of India honored him with the Padma Shri, the country’s fourth highest civilian award.

Shri Chandrakant Bellad
Shri Chandrakant Bellad is a former member of the Karnataka Legislative Assembly. He was elected to the Karnataka Legislative Assembly from the Dharwad Assembly constituency in both 1994 and 1999. Additionally, he represented Hubli-Dharwad West from 2008 to 2013. During his tenure, he served as the President of the Border Area Development Authority from 2008 to 2013. Shri Bellad announced his retirement from active politics prior to the 2013 Karnataka Legislative Assembly elections.
